GradePilot

Privacy Policy

GradePilot — Plan your grades with confidence.

Effective date: 27 April 2026

GradePilot is a simple weighted grade calculator for students. This policy explains what information may be entered or collected when you use the app, in plain language.

1. Information you enter

GradePilot lets you enter the following voluntarily:

This information is used to calculate your weighted grade averages and to let you save calculations for later.

Please avoid entering sensitive personal information — such as student ID numbers, full legal names, school account details, or private notes — in assignment names or saved calculation names.

2. Saved calculations

Saved calculations are stored on your device so you can reopen and edit them later. GradePilot does not require an account to use saved calculations.

You can delete saved calculations from inside the app. You can also remove locally stored app data by deleting the app from your device or clearing app data where your device allows it. If the app is uninstalled or local app storage is cleared, saved calculations may be removed from the device.

3. Crash and diagnostic information

GradePilot may collect basic crash and diagnostic information through Sentry when something goes wrong in the app. This information helps identify bugs and improve reliability.

Diagnostic information may include technical details such as:

4. Third-party services

GradePilot uses Sentry to help monitor crashes and errors. Sentry may process diagnostic information according to its own privacy practices.

You can read more in Sentry's privacy policy.

5. How information is used

6. What GradePilot does not require

GradePilot is a planning and calculation tool, not an official source of grades.

7. Your choices

Saved calculations remain on your device until you delete them, delete the app, or clear local app data. Crash and diagnostic information is handled through the diagnostic service used by the app.

8. Children and students

GradePilot is intended as a simple grade calculation tool. It does not require an account and does not ask users to provide student IDs, school credentials, or other sensitive school account information.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has entered sensitive personal information into the app, please contact support so we can help.

9. Changes to this policy

This privacy policy may be updated from time to time, especially if GradePilot's features or data practices change. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when changes are made.
